Class A3 Large Village

There were fourteen awards. Three villages won bronze, eight silver, two silver gilt and one gold. Warkworth won the Cameron Trophy for the best large village.

Warkworth is an excellent community led entry, with the enthusiastic and knowledgeable team ensuring that all elements within the village are co-ordinated, linked to and support the Northumbria in Bloom ethos. Business links are well developed as is fundraising, involvement of the local school, and acknowledgement of local heritage, and there are excellent communication and publicity links.
