Newcastle and Sunderland both gained Gold Medal awards but Sunderland took the North East Co-op Trophy.

Sunderland has lifted its game this year to outstanding effect.  The Bloom team have incredible commitment, enthusiasm and dedication to the bloom cause.  Community involvement and participation is actively encouraged at all levels and the extensive bridging works the team has developed with the local community are helping to ensure that Sunderland has a wide and varied living environment for everyone to enjoy
