Class C2 City

Stockton on Tees was again the only entrant in this class and maintained its performance this year by winning a Gold medal and the Whitbread Trophy

An exceptionally good entry, which improves consistently from year to year in all sections.  The spring bedding and bulbs were excellent, especially the crocuses along the wide grass verges on the main highways. 

A lot of horticultural care is shown throughout the borough.  Stockton is almost litter free and free of dog fouling – an achievement in itself!  The design and quality of street furniture, signage etc. is excellent. 

There are many events throughout the year for fund-raising and social purposes in connection with Stockton in Bloom.
