Growing Together 2012 launched
The 2012 Growing Together scheme for schools gardening is now open for entries. The scheme is available to all schools in the Northumbria in Bloom area. For information and an entry form, go to the Growing Together page.
Northumbria in Bloom 2012 launched
The 2012 Northumbria in Bloom campaign has been launched. The 2011 campaign was very successful with 76 communities in the main competition, 52 schools in Growing Together and 46 local volunteer groups in RHS It's Your Neighbourhood entered from across the Region. Northumbrian success in Britain in Bloom
The results of the 2011 Britain Bloom competition were announced in a presentation ceremony in St Andrew's on 25th September. Stockton on Tees achieved Gold, Whickham, Warkworth and Great Whittington Silver Gilt and Darlington and Saltburn by the Sea recieved Silver awards. RHS It's Your Neighbourhood Results announced
The results of the 2011 Northumbria in Bloom entries for RHS It's Your Neighbourhood were announced at Durham Town Hall on 4th October. Certificates were presented by Lucy Reid of the RHS. For the results, go to the Results page. For a Press release, click here.
Northumbria in Bloom Presentations 2011
The results of the 20111 Northumbria in Bloom competition were announced and presentations made at a ceremony in Saltburn by the Sea on 13th September. The full results are on the Results page.

Growing Together 2011 Results announced
The results of the Northumbria in Bloom 2011 Growing Together scheme have been announced. 52 schools entered and 22 were awarded Gold Medal certificates.
Cowell's Garden Centre supports Growing Together
Northumbria in Bloom is delighted that Cowell's Garden Centre of Woolsington, Newcastle upon Tyne have agreed to support the Growing Together scheme. The Cowell's Garden Centre Trophy will be awarded to the school gaining most points for Horticulture.
