Spring Seminar 2013
The 2013 Spring Seminar was held at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on 12th March 2013 with presentations from Nicola Dexter of Cornforth partnership, Jeff Bates of East Midlands in Bloom and Roger Burnett of Yorkshire in Bloom. There's a Press release here.
Northumbria in Bloom 2013 launched
The 2013 Northumbria in Bloom campaign has been launched. The 2012 campaign was very successful with 83 communities in the main competition, 56 schools in Growing Together and 127 local volunteer groups in RHS It's Your Neighbourhood entered from across the Region. Northumbrian success in Britain in Bloom 2012
The results of the 2012 Britain Bloom competition were announced in a presentation ceremony in St. Peter Port, Guernsey on 7th October. Stockton on Tees achieved Gold in the Champion of Champions section. Sedgefield received Gold, Sunderland, Warkworth and Morpeth Silver Gilt. Stanghow were awarded Gold and Category Winner and have been invited to enter the Champion of Champions competition next year. For the full Britain in Bloom results, go to Britain in Bloom Results.
Growing Together 2013 launched.
The 2013 Growing Together scheme for schools gardening is now open for entries and entry is free. For the 2013 entry form go to the Growing Together page.
Growing Together 2012 Results announced
The results of the Northumbria in Bloom 2011 Growing Together scheme have been announced. 56 schools entered and 31 were awarded Gold Medal certificates.
Northumbria in Bloom Presentations 2012
The results of the 2012 Northumbria in Bloom competition were announced and presentations made at a ceremony in Spennymoor Leisure Centre on 11th September. The full results are on the Results page.

RHS It's Your Neighbourhood Awards Ceremony
It had been intended that the RHS It's Your Neighbourhood ceremony would be held on the same day as the Major Awards, but because there are many more entries than last year, there will again be a separate ceremony. It will be held in Spennymoor Town Hall on Thursday 25th October , 9.30 for 10 am.
RHS It's Your Neighbourhood Results announced
