Populations, entry fees and judging time allocations.
Please ensure that you check your Electoral Roll carefully (only include the number of adults eligible to vote) and enter the correct category based on the electoral roll of your entry and not your population.

| B3 | Large Town | 12,001 - 35,000 | £125 | 2½ hours |
| C1 | Small City | 35,001 - 100,000 | £500 | 3 hours |
| C2 | City | 100,001 - 200,000 | £500 | 3½ hours |
| C3 | Large City | 200,001 and over | £500 | 4 hours |
| D | Urban Community | up to 25,000 | £125 | 2 hours |
| E | Coastal Resort | under 35,000 | £125 | Up to 2½ hours |
NOTES
1. It is regretted that no refund can be given in the event of an entry withdrawing from the competition.
2. Please note that entry fees must be paid at the time of entry. Cheques should be sent to the Secretary (see the Contacts page) and made payable to Northumbria in Bloom.
3. The population figure must be accurate and in accordance with the electoral roll. Please check accuracy.
4. Please allow at least 15 minutes extra for each Special Award and 15 minutes for photographic opportunties and portfolio.
5. Lunch (if provided) - a maximum of 30 minutes.
